Enjoy the view
Frameless glass balustrades do precisely what their name describes. They use toughened laminated glass panels to create balustrades with entirely uninterrupted views. Letting in plenty of natural light and offering a contemporary and stylish feature, they're excellent choices for both private and commercial properties.
Traditional systems use glass panels supported by posts and railings to form a balustrade; channel systems, however, remove the posts and the glass is supported from its base for a seamless design.
Designed to suit you
There are two types of frameless glass balustrade system, the fully frameless or semi-frameless.
Fully frameless glass balustrades use no posts, railings or clamps and are ideal for enjoying great views from balconies, patios or raised garden areas. This type of system may take slightly longer than others to instal due to there being no handrail or stainless steel railing on top of the glass to keep the panels straight. This means we will spend some extra time ensuring every panel is secure and in its proper place.
The semi-frameless design uses the same glass panels but has the addition of a handrail on top for added support, making it an excellent choice for indoor balconies such as mezzanines or as use as stair guards.
There are no limitations to sizes or length for this type of balustrade, and so they can be designed to suit you and your property perfectly. Curved glass can also be used for small sections which look great when used for Juliet balconies.
If you love the look but are looking for something with more privacy, panels of frosted glass can be used to add either part or complete obstruction between inside and out. While still allowing sunlight to pass through, you can relax knowing you're blocked from outside eyes.
Added style without compromising security
Regardless of which balustrade system you opt for, they offer all the same features of a regular balustrade system. They provide the same security and safety, but it is a stylish design that's easier to clean and can allow sunlight to freely shine indoors.
